Funnel Leak Detector

Map every drop-off point from ad click to closed deal. Prioritize by revenue impact, not by which problem is easiest to see. Fix the right leak first.

Most revenue optimization focuses on the top of the funnel — more traffic, more impressions, more spend. But a 2% improvement in landing page conversion rate is worth more than a 20% increase in ad spend when your current conversion rate is 1%.

Clawdbot ingests your funnel data, identifies the largest percentage drop-offs, and calculates the revenue impact of fixing each stage to industry benchmark.

Funnel Map

Define every stage from traffic source to closed deal. Each transition is a potential leak:

1

Ad impression → Click

CTR — headline and creative performance

2

Click → Landing page session

Tracking loss, page load speed

3

Session → Form submit / CTA click

Landing page conversion rate

4

Form submit → MQL

Lead quality and qualification criteria

5

MQL → Discovery booked

Sales outreach speed and quality

6

Discovery → Proposal

Demo quality, ICP fit

7

Proposal → Closed won

Pricing, competitive loss, objection handling

Conversion Benchmarks

Leak Detection by Stage

High CTR, low LP conversion

Ad promise doesn't match landing page. Rewrite LP headline to mirror ad copy exactly.

High LP conversion, low MQL quality

Form isn't filtering. Add company size, revenue, or use-case question to pre-qualify.

Good MQL volume, low discovery booking rate

Speed-to-lead issue. Every hour of delay reduces booking rate by 7%. Automate first contact.

High discovery rate, low close rate

ICP mismatch or demo quality. Record and audit 5 demos — identify where interest drops.

Revenue Impact Prioritization

Not all leaks are equal. Clawdbot calculates the revenue impact of moving each stage to benchmark:

Revenue impact formula

Monthly visitors × (benchmark CVR − current CVR) × ACV = monthly revenue gap

The stage with the largest revenue gap is fixed first — regardless of how easy or visible it is.

Fix the biggest revenue gap, not the most obvious problem. They're rarely the same thing.

Tracking Requirements

Clawdbot needs accurate data to audit. Minimum tracking stack:

Google Analytics 4 with conversion events per funnel stage

CRM with lead source, stage transitions, and close date

Ad platform conversion tracking with verified tag firing

Heatmap tool (Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity) on key landing pages
