What is Claude Cowork
Claude Cowork is a new feature from Anthropic. It lets Claude see your screen, click buttons, type, and navigate interfaces.
Regular Claude: gives advice, you do the work.
Claude Cowork: does the work while you watch.
For marketers, this means Claude can log into Google Ads and actually manage your campaigns.

What Claude Can Do in Google Ads
- Pause underperforming ad sets
- Adjust budgets
- Change bids
- Create new campaigns
- Update ad copy
- Pull performance reports
- Find wasted spend
- Enable/disable ads
What it can't do:
- Access data it can't see on screen
- Make judgment calls without your input
- Work faster than a human clicking
Example Prompts
Campaign analysis:
- "Show me which campaigns have CPA above $50"

Workflows
Daily check (2 min):
- "Any ad sets with spend over $50 and zero conversions today?"
- "Anything I should pause?"
Weekly optimization (10 min):
- "Show me this week's performance by ad set"
- "Which ad sets should I scale?"
- "Which ones should I pause?"
- "Make those changes"
Monthly reporting (5 min):
- "Pull monthly performance summary"

Best Practices
- Be specific with your prompts
- Always review before approving changes
- Start with reporting tasks before letting it make changes
- Double-check any budget or bid changes
- Use it for repetitive tasks, not strategy
